Sent this to a fan by email earlier this week that best explains the situation:

I haven't done a new vid in a little over a month now and am not sure, but the last one I did may have been it. I have tried to do another one on numerous occasions only to not work on it cause I have lost the desire to do so. I have recently joined a online league with Star Wars Battlefront for the PC and it requires a lot of committed time to get ready for upcoming tournaments and matches I will be entering. It's a lot of fun and I'm glad that after 2-3 years of being absent from the online scene, I am able to get back into it again. I have to also say that I haven't watched any DA DVD's for about a year now. A lot of episodes to watch and not a lot of time. Unfortunately I do still have quite a few amount of songs left on the table right now. I can't say when I might do another one and when it will be put up but I might try and do another one real soon. I just don't have enough time anymore..sorry guys but life goes on wink

Star Wars - Defiantly!! cool

I would have done 1 or 2 by now but have to wait for the Episode III DVD to come out before I can do a Anakin turning to the dark side video

Have to wait till Nov 8th before I can do it though sad

I still might try to do some DA videos but I just don't know how long it will take and when I can get one out naja

I use to be able to do them once a week or every 2 weeks...I just can't promise a time frame anymore...........

Bei den Jackie-Videos musst Du auf "Download!" bei dem jeweiligen Vid klicken, das ist ein Link zu megaupload. Auf der Seite läuft dann ein Countdown "Please wait 45 seconds ...." und der wird nach dem Ablaufen zu "Click here to download"; geht auch mit dl-Manager. Dann wünsch ich Dir viel Erfolg beim dl, die Videos sind gut.

Leider passiert da gar nix bei mir?*löl* Der Button ändert sich in loading download, und dann passiert..nüx^^

Woody, haste es mal mit rechts auf "click here to dl" draufgeklickt und es mit dem DL-Manager versucht? Ich habs grad versucht und es funzt. Sonst lösch mal temporäre Dateien und Cookies von megaupload, vielleicht liegts daran.

Bei mir kommt die Abfrage, aber nicht gleich, sondern nach ca. 5-10 sec, oder so. Dauert auf jeden Fall viiiiieeeel länger als sonst. Vielleicht bist du ja zu ungeduldig, Woody? wink

Oder liegt es an Deiner FW? Da kenn ich mich aber null aus.

Hat sonst noch jemand Probleme/Tipps bei diesem dl?

Tja, läuft nix! Weder vorwärts, rückwärts, linke-rechte Maustaste nothing! KA wieso, finde das aber langsam lästig... *grrrr

Ich nehme für Videos den kostenlosen Windows Movie Maker. Der ist kostenlos bei Windows dabei. Bei Graphikprogrammen kenn ich mich nicht aus.

Wenn du viel zu viel Geld hast nimmst du Photoshop, wenn du ein gleichwertiges kostenlosen Programm willst nimmst du am Besten GIMP. Damit arbeite ich auch, bin von Photoshop gewechselt und vermisse nicht eine Funktion.

Video:
Damit habe ich mich in der letzten Zeit wenig beschäftigt, da kann ich dir nur sagen, dass Adobe Premiere bei mir gut Dienste geleistet hat. Der Movie Maker ist ein grundlegendes Programm, wenig Extra Funktionen, für einfache Sachen wohl geeignet. Andere 'Freeware'-Tools kann ich dir leider nicht sagen, wenn ich in einigen Monaten mit Videoschnitt unter Linux anfange kann ich aber Empfehlungen nachrreichen (für die meisten Linuxtools gibt es auch Winversionen).

First some general advice: Don't use different video sources, it just looks bad.
The Video is kind of good, no masterpiece, but a solid one. The song fits the atmosphere of the scenes you selected, only the bike scene is a bit too fast compared to the slow music.

The reason why I chose clips from different video sources is because I wanted to tell a "made-up" story, which is what our film class was based on.. telling a story, the sources nor the video inputs itself played a great deal of importance in our project. This is my first video try out. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing your opinion.

@ Lily: Downloading your vid was a bit difficult, but finally I watched it. I liked it a lot. You chose the clips well and the cuts were well done, too. I made vids myself and I can appreciate how much work you put into this. I especially liked that you used so many scenes from season 1 for Max, she looked so happy then.
