Japp, die Perücke ist wirklich fürchterlich, was haben die sich dabei nur gedacht?
Hätten sie es wie in Teil 1 gemacht wäre es mMn ideal gewesen.

Die Haare sind echt blond und fallen anders, sie die Haare von Jessica Alba fallen. Sie hat ja das Glück, was aber viele Idianerstämmige, glatte und trotzdem volle Haare zu haben, das hat die Perrücke nicht die ist ein bisschen Spaghettihaft wie halt bei europäern. |

He sees this kind of entity which is the Silver Surfer. Just knowing the comic books, Dr. Doom is Dr. Doom so what does he do? He goes and he tries to destroy everybody and get everybody's powers and all that kind of stuff. That's basically what the character's about."
Once the Surfer is off, McMahon gets to be himself. "Then Dr. Doom becomes me for a certain period of time which I think is very strange but let's not get into that."
For the grand finale, expect a big closer. "Then the final costume is this pretty amazing costume. It's a similar kind of mask. It's kind of a larger type of fit and probably a little more sturdy kind of look to it. The chest plate, it's a very heavy outfit. It weighed about 45 -50 pounds whatever without the cape and stuff but its pretty extraordinary. It’s a darker suit than the one he had last time its kind of more Batmanesque in a way, but with the mask its obviously very Dr. Doom, and it’s a great looking outfit. Look, I got so many outfits its ridiculous."
At least they're keeping him busy. With new characters like the Surfer and Galactus, Dr. Doom still has a vital role. "I had quite a lot to do actually, because he went through all these transformations, different to what happens in the comic or the cartoon but we kinda just had to make it applicable [to the film].""

It may still be months before the chrome-domed Silver Surfer leads the Fantastic Four back onto the big screen, but rumours surrounding the details of FF2 have already begun speeding across the web. Just last week, director Tim Story revealed via his MySpace blog (how else?) that the planet-hungry Galactus will definitely be making an appearance in the movie and the roots of the evil Dr. Doom will also be explored. With that in mind, who better to talk to than the maniacal Doctor himself. Chatting exclusively to Empire, masked-man Julian McMahon had this to say about what we can all expect from The Rise Of The Silver Surfer when it hits screens in the summer:
“He’s [Doom] been locked in casket for a couple of years, so he’s pretty pissed off. He’s had a while to simmer, ya know? So, when we first see him in the movie, we see him break out of the box and rip off the mask. And he’s definitely not happy with what he sees. But you’ll be surprised about how he makes his comeback. He’s not just someone wandering around in a mask. This guy is very, very powerful.”
For those of you who’ve seen the FF2 teaser trailer, you’ll know that the first few glimpses into the movie look very promising indeed. An opinion McMahon shares wholeheartedly: “It looks wicked doesn’t it?! They actually put that together while we were making the movie. Very cool.”
“Yeah, I was bit confused by that,” he adds when asked about Story’s comments on Doom’s back-story: “Doom's roots? I thought we covered that in the first movie. Maybe he’s put something in there that I have no idea about . . . I think I need to call Tim!”
And Galactus? “Well, I’m not allowed to say…but put it this way - if you know the Fantastic Four comics, you’ll know that Doom has dealings with everybody. Dr. Doom has always been about taking over the universe, crushing anyone who’s against him and doing whatever he can to manipulate people like him [points at Empire’s WETA designed Silver Surfer cover] and use their powers.”
“The first movie was very much about setting things up. FF2 is much more about play. It’s going to be all out.”

McMahon Hangs Ten In Four
Julian McMahon, who reprises the role of Dr. Doom in the upcoming Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, told SCI FI Wire that he spent a lot of time dangling from cables 50 feet off the ground, surrounded by green screen. "I spent a month and a half doing that," McMahon said in an interview while promoting his upcoming film Premonition. "That was intense. The last month and a half of me shooting that was me in this outfit, which weighed, I think, between 40 and 60 pounds, depending on what cape I had on, which is a lot of weight to carry around. I was up on this [rig] about 50 or 60 feet high, with a half-cut-off surfboard."
At times, the Australian-born McMahon said he had to remind himself: "I am an actor!" He added: "Yeah, you just wonder what the hell you're doing there and if someone else should be doing this."
In the upcoming sequel, the title superhero quartet encounters a silvery extraterrestrial who is on a mysterious mission. Meanwhile, McMahon's villain from the first movie returns, with a nefarious agenda of his own.
Despite the discomfort, McMahon added that he welcomed the chance to perform his own stunts. "I didn't want anyone else to be doing that," he said. "I like doing the little things, like the hand stuff. No one else was going to do it the way that I wanted it to be done. I mean, particularly with Dr. Doom, ... and I only found this through the first movie, everything was happening through his hands. All the metallic stuff, it started in his hands, and he was doing all this stuff with his hands. So if they need a closeup of it or whatever it should be me doing it, because I know what I'm doing. It gives it that kind of feel. That's why I decided to get up on this green screen." Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer opens June 15.

Forget the Silver Surfer and Galactus: The Fantastic Four have more than enough to worry about with their old nemesis still on the loose, warned Julian McMahon. "Dr. Doom is Dr. Doom — he's not Victor Von Doom anymore," McMahon revealed of his role in the upcoming "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer." "[The first movie] was kind of a prequel, a setup. Now [he's] got the opportunity to play. He just never dies. It didn't matter who came into the comic book — and there were lots of other characters — but Dr. Doom was always there." McMahon said that the end of "Surfer" will have fans begging for more. "The final sequence in this thing is out of control. The graphics and stuff that we do is beyond [amazing]," he said. "When you first watch 'Star Wars' and the Jedi go right into the Death Star — it's [that] intense."
