Doug Jones spricht über Hellboy 2
Schauspieler Doug Jones hat in einem Interview einige Details zum kommenden Comic-Sequel Hellboy 2: The Golden Army verraten. Jones wird wieder als Abe Sapien auf der Leinwand agieren, daneben wird er noch die Rollen der Charaktere The Chamberlain und The Angel of Death übernehmen.
Ein Bestandteil der Story werde die erste Liebe seines Hauptcharakters Abe Sapien sein. Der Hauptplot sei ein Krieg zwischen Menschen und der mystischen Welt. Eine alte Waffenruhe zwischen der mystischen Welt und der der Menschen wird gebrochen, als eine dämonische Kreatur viele Wesen, um sich versammelt um die Erde zu erobern. Hellboy ist die letzte Rettung der Menschheit.
Jones wird dieses Mal auch selbst eine Sprechrolle haben. Im ersten Teil wurde er noch von einem anderen Darsteller synchronisiert. "Es war schmerzhaft für mich...Kein Schauspieler will das ihm ein Stück seiner Performance weggenommen wird", sagte er dazu.
Die Dreharbeiten zu "Hellboy 2" haben in Budapest begonnen. Für Regie und Drehbuch ist wieder Guillermo del Toro verantwortlich. Geplanter deutscher Kinostart ist der 14. August 2008.

Hellboy II Concept Art Surfaces
The Hellboymovie.com site received a cool update today. There's now over ten conceptual pieces from Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army that introduces you to some of the new worlds, beasts and B.P.R.D. tools you'll see come July 11, 2008, when the sequel is released.

Hab mir den Film am Wochenende auch angesehen, fand ihn besser als den ersten Teil. Allerdings sollte del Toro allmählich nicht immer nur auf ungewöhnliche Kreaturen und bizarre Geschöpfe setzen und sich mehr auf die Story konzentrieren ... da wurde schon einiges vernachlässigt, dass hat er bei Pans Labyrinth besser hinbekommen. Positiv: die "typisch - deutsch" klischeehafte Darstellung von Johann Krauss:
Würd ihm ebenfalls 8.5 / 10 geben. |

war letztes WE mir den Film auch anschauen.
Ich muss WIESI zustimmen, daß es zu viele komische Kreaturen gab vor allem auf dem Markt. Die Rolle des Johann Krauss hat mir nicht so gefallen, die war mir zu skuril!
Die Story hingegen fand ich recht gut und die Gags waren wieder einwandfrei!
Gelohnt hat sich der Film alle mal!

Ich habe den Film damals nicht im Kino gesehn, hab' ihn aber letzte Woche auf DVD gekauft und jetzt angesehen. Er hat mir gut gefallen, hatte eine interessante Story, gute Action-Szenen und auch der Humor kahm natürlich nicht zu kurz. |
