ich war gestern im kino und da hab ich den trailer von hostel II gesehen.. in deutsch^^ ich dachte mir so "hey vllt spielt das ja in deutschland" -nein es handelt in rom..

für mich ist das einfach ein beschi**** zusammenhang.. die deutsche sprache hat damit doch voll nichts zu tun! die deutsche sprache hat überhaupt nichts darkes an sich! Im kino meinte ich so "woow it's german" und alles dreht sich zu mich um..  naja.. mich würde mal interessieren ob wir mehr dadrüber rausfinden können und was ihr so davon haltet!

It's not the first time Lionsgate has used an unusual marketing ploy, but the decision to make the promo in German breaks one of Hollywood's strictest rules -- English only, please. Even trailers for foreign-language films typically have an English voiceover.
Trailer debuts tonight on MTV and bows in thousands of theaters on Friday with the release of "Saw III."
"Hostel II," which bows sometime next year, will be in English and is set in Prague, where Czech is the language of choice. So why German?
"German is more guttural and harsh," said Lionsgate co-prexy of marketing Tim Palen. "I think a lot of people will be taken aback, but with the success of the first 'Hostel,' there will be no confusion as to whether the movie is in English."
Palen said the trailer makes the pic seem more European and exotic. It's also a nod to the anti-American sentiment sweeping Europe and beyond. (In both "Hostel" movies, American victims draw a higher price.)
"For the discerning horror fan, it will separate 'Hostel II' from the typical kids-stranded-in-the-middle-of-nowhere horror film," Palen said.
Lionsgate will bow "Saw III" on 4,800 screens, providing broad exposure for the "Hostel" trailer. |

It opens on Roger Bart and another businessman-type jogging in track suits along a canal. They're discussing sex, and it's effect one's very being; how people just "know" when you've had it. We see Bijou Phillips, another pretty girl, and a beefy guy soaping each other up (in swimsuits) while bathing in what appears to be a hot spring of some sort. We hade in on Heather Matarazzo's face, crying and gagged with what looks like some kind of neatly folded cloth. The camera begins to spin until her face is upside down in the frame. We pull back and it becomes clear that it is HER that is upside down, hanging from something as yet unrevealed. She begins to move backwards, crying still. We cut to a white, stone room that is lined with candles, the last of which being lit by a man in an S&M-ish mask. The room is not quite as filthy and dark as the rooms in HOSTEL 1. We see Heather's character wheeled into the room, hanging from a chain, nude, her back to the camera. We cut back to her face, still crying, pleading now behind her gag.

Also auf den Film bin ich sehr gespannt, der erste war schon ziemlich gut.
Vor allem bin ich mal auf Stanislav Ianevski gespannt, der ja den Viktor Krum in Harry Potter gespielt hat. Ich habe aber keine Ahnung wie lang sein Auftritt sein wird  Vielleicht Red Shirt. |
