"Jess has always been tiny, so this is all totally new to her," an insider told Pop Tarts. "She refuses to pose and is extra careful to not be photographed at all at this point in time. It just isn't something she feels comfortable with right now."
But even with a bustling belly, Alba still made the most of the Sundance social scene. Pop Tarts popped the future parents partying into the early hours on Saturday and Sunday at the MySpace/Tao nights, but Warren had to shine in the spotlight solo as Jess refused to be snapped. However, the "Fantastic Four" star made one exception. She spent ages beading a bracelet for a child in need at Marnie Rocks "Beading Cancer" at Kari Feinstein's Style Lounge. And she even smiled for a snapper while holding up the creation.
But will Alba be the next Madonna or Angelina Jolie? She is said to have expressed her desire to have a bunch of biological and adopted children, asking lots of questions about how to go about it.

The baby’s father is her fiancé, producer Cash Warren, for whom she predicts a bright future in filmmaking. "His first movie (Made in America) got into Sundance, and it's incredibly well-received," she says. "He's worked hard. He really hasn't stopped."
As for her own career, Jessica says it's important to maintain a perspective on the glitz and glamour. "It is…a crazy business and when you get caught up in it you can lose your cool a bit…I look at it as a job. I love what I do. I love entertaining people, I love making movies…that's the ultimate for me in this business."

Während des Auftritts bei David Letterman sprach Jessica Alba natürlich auch über die Schwangerschaft. Auf die Frage hin ob sie weiß welches Geschlecht das Kind hat sagte sie: Um...I haven't...I'm not saying anything. Um...I might know. [laughs] Das wird also noch etwas länger ihr Geheimnis bleiben. Außerdem wird das Kind erst nach ihrem 27. Geburtstag zur Welt kommen: I'm in my late 20s -- I'll be having the baby when I'm 27! So, it's not too early in the game. Mal schauen wann im Mai es dann soweit ist. Und dann ging sie noch etwas näher auf ihr körperliches Befinden ein: I'm in the second trimester. The first one was hairy. It was all day sickness. It wasn't very fun. Then you're just expanding in places [you're not expecting], and you're just like, 'What? Why? What's going on here?!' I'm feeling much better.

Also hat sie jetzt keine morgendliche Übelkeit? Stimmt am Anfang hat sie sich nicht wirklich gut in ihrem Körper gefühlt (Jeden Tag ins Fitnesszentrum!). Jetzt scheint sie sich aber damit abgefunden zu haben und genießt die Schwangerschaft. |
