ganz ehrlich, langsam frag ich mich was mit miss alba los ist!
wenn sie das vor 20 jahren gesagt hätte, würd ich ihr das glauben, aber heute ist es nicht mehr so schlimm, wenn das noch so wäre, könnte keine frau kanzerlin werden, im sport erfolgreich sein, top manager werden..... |

Das ist ne andere Gesellschaft das ist in den USA scheinbar noch anders als hier, hier ist das auch erst seit kurzen, dass Frauen wirklich absolut gleichwertig im Beruf gesehen werden! |

Meinst du in Deutschland? Wo denn? Also die Frauen werden hierzulande nicht wirklich gleichberechtigt behandelt.  |

also wir frauen in deutschland können ja nun wirklich nicht meckern. habe gerade erst wieder gelesen, dass die männer es inzwischen teilweise schon schwerer haben eine chefposition zu bekleiden, weil der vorstand lieber gleich qualifizierte frauen einstellt, weil sie angst haben, sonst als diskrimierend abgestempelt zu werden. oder nehmen wir nur mal angela merkel-- beispiel genug für die gleichberechtigung. kleine unterschiede gibts immer, ua weil männer meistens mehr kraft/ mut /risikobereitsschaft haben und daher eher zur polizei/ bundeswehr etc gehen.. aber frauen werden da genauso angenommen. |

Also soweit ich das in meinem Umfeld mitkriege werden hier Frauen langsam sehr gleichwertig behandelt so hat meine Mutter (mit drei Söhnen die in 4 Jahren geboren wurden) eine ziemlich gute Karriere hingelegt ohne tausend Nannies zu haben!
Naja Flatrate saufen ist was anderes mal davon abgesehen, dass das bei uns nie 25 öcken kostet! |

“People in the business made me feel that it was going to be a problem that I was playing Sue Storm, a blue-eyed blonde, but I didn't see any problem with it myself. Cate Blanchett dyes her hair any color that she needs to for her roles, and nobody cares. People transform themselves for roles everyday—it's called being an actor. It's no big deal—we play dress up for a living. We pretend—we tell stories for entertainment purposes. The only thing I did do was wear contacts to make my eyes blue. And as for most women in Hollywood? They're not real blondes, anyway!”
The wild party girl…
“Sometimes I like to go out, but usually after work I just go home, take a bath, watch movies. Instead of going out, I’d rather have my friends over and play games at my house—stupid games like charades or Pictionary or Monopoly. Or maybe Between the Sheets—it’s an easy way to win your money back when you’ve lost it all in poker.”

Robert Masello, who interviewed Alba for PARADE, says: “Our waiter at the Polo Lounge, a very friendly fellow named Jeremy, knew Jessica from her previous visits, and he also knew what she liked. He instantly brought her the house list of single malt scotches, and together they had quite a lengthy chat about the various brands, and their relative smoky or peaty flavors. I was intrigued to hear these two experts going at it—especially when one of them happened to be the lovely young Ms. Alba. I always thought it was crusty old men who drank these expensive scotches. Now I know better."
A not-so-surprising revelation from writer Robert Masello…
“I've been interviewing celebrities, off and on, for many years, but once I told my male friends I was interviewing Jessica Alba, I had more offers than ever before to (a) carry my tape recorder, (b) drive me to the appointment, (c) give me money. My professional ethics, of course, forbade me from accepting any of their offers, but I've got to say, this public response was overwhelming and unprecedented. There is indeed something about Ms. Alba that has captured the imagination of at least half of the population. That, or I've suddenly become way more popular.”

Behind the scenes at PARADE's photo shoot with Jessica Alba
Photographer Robert Ascroft reveals the fun details behind his shoot with actress Jessica Alba.
Where did the shoot take place?
At Pier 59 West in Santa Monica, Calif.
What time was the shoot scheduled to start?
3:30pm. Alba was on another shoot in the morning and she showed up right on time and ready to get down to business.
How long did the shoot last?
About four hours, including touch-ups on hair and makeup, and wardrobe.
What was served for lunch?
We had roasted chicken and sparkling mineral water.
What music was playing during the shoot?
Alba had the good sense to bring a mix CD containing some of her favorite music. It was all great stuff that no one on the set of the shoot had heard before...or since!
Who accompanied Alba to the shoot?
Her hair and makeup team as well as her publicist, Brad Cafarelli.

“My assistants and I were really taken aback at how cool and down to earth Jessica was. I have worked with numerous celebrities with half the fame and good looks as Jessica, and ten times the ego. ... BEING A SEX SYMBOL, WORKING IN A BIZ ‘DRIVEN BY WHITE MALES’
“I could give two sh*ts about them,” actress Jessica Alba tells PARADE, referring to the paparazzi. “They’re so lame, I can’t even believe that’s a real job. I can’t imagine they even pay taxes.”
Alba has similar feelings about the media. She says, “I never want to be in the papers except when I’m promoting a movie, but if they have to, they’ll make up lies about me just to have something newsworthy to say. The more controversial the story is, the more buzz it can get, and the more it’ll sell.”
On working in the movie biz, she says, “I’m in a business that’s completely driven by white males. The majority of the writers and directors are men.” She takes a breather to apply lip gloss at this point in the interview with PARADE writer Robert Masello. “And even though I’m not, like, such a huge feminist, I do want to produce movies on my own that are female-driven and empowering to women. The woman’s voice really isn’t present in Hollywood.”
On the notion of being a sex symbol, Alba says, “I don’t really pay attention to all that. It’s only when people start to treat me like one that it really freaks me out.
“Most days, I wake up and look in the mirror and go, ‘ugh,’” she says, mimicking the sound of someone faced with a dreary prospect. “I don’t really think I look all that great.” Masello’s observation: “It sounds more and more like she’s gotten herself into the classic bind – the young babe with a bod who’s posed for some provocative, if relatively tame, magazine spreads and played the stripper onscreen, but who now wants to shed all that and be recognized for something more,” he writes.
“Maybe people will kind of see me for who I am instead of just basing their opinion on some paparazzi’s pictures of me taken on the beach,” Alba says.

Uups, ich meinte auch drei. Zwei Events an einem Tag wär ja auch wirklich lachhaft - das ist ja das Grundpensum von so einem 08/15-Star und nicht annährend Jessicas Liga. Da müssen es schon mindestens drei Events täglich sein, sonst kriegt man ja auch Minderwertigkeitskomplexe.  |
