Jessica Alba, who appears in a in new bondage-inspired campaign for the voter group Declare Yourself, isn't afraid to employ a little shock value for a cause she believes in.
"I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically," says Alba. "People respond to things that are shocking."
The dramatic image "really resonates" with the issue of voting, according to the 27-year-old star. "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself."
Of taking the photos, shot by photographer Marc Liddel, Alba says, "It didn't freak me out at all. What I like about Marc's work is that he tells a story and brings real emotion to his pictures."
On a lighter note, Alba also has plenty to say about her 3-month-old baby Honor. "So far [motherhood] is the best thing ever," she says. "It is exhausting but way more fulfilling than anything I have done. Everything I do now is so much more meaningful because of her."

Honor scheint auch eine zu sein,die ständig Bewegungen braucht.

Wie ich gesehen habe, haben mehrere Stars den "Schuh" designed! Aber als, ob alle das Talent hätten??? Weil bei jedem Promi sieht der designte Schuh perfekt aus!

Naja,ich denke designed heisst nicht zwangsläufig,dass sie den auch selbst gemacht haben.Die haben vermutlich einfach die Vorlage gegeben und irgendwer hat sie dann gemacht.Und meist kann man an ner Vorlage tüfteln,so dass man sieht ob`s gut herauskommt oder eben nicht und dann kann man zur Not ja auch noch Aenderungen vornehmen. |
