Saw IV' Proves Horror is Unstoppable With $32 Million!
The Box Office Mojo reports that Lionsgate's Saw IV took in an estimated $32 million in it's opening weekend making it still the king of horror franchises this decade. That's only a measly million less than last year showing Jigsaw is still as strong as ever and so is horror (yeah baby!)... |

32 Millionen Dollar sollen es am 1. Wochenende geworden sein. Das wäre ein Zwischenergebnis zwischen Teil 2 (31 Millionen) & Teil 3 (33 Millionen). Waren also wieder circa gleich viele Kinogänger am 1. Tag beinahe 30% einbrach. So ein - von 60% am 2. Wochenende werden es wohl werden...

Hinweise bevor man sich Saw IV ansieht
quelle
11/06/07 - Dear readers, I want to play a game: It's called "get through the movie 'Saw 4.'"
Director Darren Lynn Bousman worked hard to create the newest Saw addition to the collection. The mastermind behind this piece of work did his best to make "Saw 4" just as intense, just as gory, and just as thought-provoking as the rest.
I'd like to give you moviegoers some advice before seeing Saw IV:
1. If you have not seen Saw, Saw II, or Saw III, please do not feel it necessary to go see Saw IV. Even if all your friends are seeing it, don't do it. First of all, you will not have any idea what is going on. Second of all, because you have no idea what is going on, your friends will hate you after the movie for asking questions throughout it.
2. If you have seen Saw, Saw II, or Saw III, I suggest that you do go see this movie, but I suggest that you brush up on the Saw timeline beforehand. Unlike the Scream trilogy, where it is simple to remember where things left off, Saw IV includes people from even the earliest Saw, and scenes and hints from Saw III that may have seemed miniscule at the time.
Do yourselves a favor and watch Saw III within a few days of seeing the newest. It will save you from doing extra thinking throughout the movie.
3. When you go to see the movie, buy a ticket for the 7:15 p.m. show, and then another one for the 9:45 p.m. show. After the movie is over, you are going to want to see the movie again. This could be for two reasons: You either just don't understand the movie at all, and would like to give it another try (Maybe you never saw a Saw movie before, or you just weren't into thinking about the plot the first time you watched it, or two, you understand it, and want to pick up on all the hints and clues within the movie that lead to the ending.
4. The ending, without spoiling it, will be confusing. Be patient. If you are patient, the ending of the movie will just come to you. Don't let anything distract you - think hard. Be prepared to talk about the movie with your friends afterward.
After seeing the movie, I had different perspective on things. Try to "see what [Jigsaw] sees" and "feel what [Jigsaw] feels."
Good luck.
Let the game begin... |
