Most viewers of 24 will want to know one thing above all others: Is the upcoming season of Fox's groundbreaking experiment in serial TV (father of Lost, grandpappy of Heroes and Jericho) as good as last year? Let me put it to you this way: There are more thrills and suspense in the first four hours than most series can pack into a single season. Or an entire run of show, for that matter. I got those four episodes from EW Central Command and planned to dole them out over the course of maybe a week. Instead I ended up watching all of them that same night. Day 6 (at least so far) is like a book you can't put down...even though there are times when you may want to.

Das klingt ja schon sehr vielversprechend. Den Rest der Review hab ich allerdings nicht gelesen ... die Angst vor einem Major Spoiler ist mir zu groß.

The last week before the season 6 premiere airs isn't starting off too well for Fox.
The first episode of season 6 has apparently been leaked to the internet world. Most likely, the dvd was leaked by someone from a reviewing company or a disc was stolen while in transport.
So far, it looks like only episode 1 has been leaked, remember that the whole premiere is 4 hours (composed of 4 episodes). The other 3 episodes will most likely be leaked too within this week as all 4 episodes were on the same dvd.

Ist ja kein Wunder, denn die 4 Folgen waren ja bekanntlich auf einer DVD, somit war
es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis Folge 2 aufgetaucht ist ... 3 und 4 werden wohl nicht
lange auf sich warten lassen.

Es ist doch eh nur noch ne Woche bis die Folgen auch "legal" zu schauen sind - warum sollte man sich also jetzt den Spaß verderben.
Bin der Meinung wer solange gewartet hat, der schaffts auch noch ne Woche |

Am Sonntagabend startete die mit Spannung erwartete sechste Staffel von «24». Jack Bauer ist wieder zurück und die Amerikaner schalten in Scharen zu FOX. Wir fassen den zweistündigen Auftakt im Halb-Stunden-Takt zusammen. Los ging es um 20.00 Uhr: Da zu diesem Zeitpunkt bei CBS noch die Nachberichterstattung des Football-Playoff-Spiels zu sehen war, tat sich Jack Bauer zu Beginn schwer. Mit 14,38 Millionen Zuschauern war die Reichweite ausbaufähig. Zwischen 20.30 Uhr und 21.00 Uhr kam Bauer dann auf 15,87 Millionen Zuseher. Damit liegt die erste Episode deutlich unter den Startwerten der fünften Staffel. Der Auftakt erreichte im Januar 2006 über 17 Millionen Amerikaner.
Die zweite Folge konnte dann steigende Quoten verbuchen. 16,28 Millionen Amerikaner sahen die erste Hälfte im Schnitt, nach 21.30 Uhr waren 16,22 Millionen US-Bürger dabei. Die zweite Folge der fünften Staffel wurde von durchschnittlich 15,48 Millionen Menschen gesehen – weniger also als bei Staffel sechs. FOX dürfte mit den Zahlen demnach sehr zufrieden sein - «24» platziert sich prompt als zweitstärkstes Format des Senders.

Die ersten 4 Folgen sind nun gelaufen. Oh man, was für ein Cliffhanger. Eigentlich dachte ich die Sache mit Curtis wäre schon genug, aber dann, keine 5 Minuten später, kommt noch ein größerer Kracher. Bissle merkwürdig war jedoch wie schnell Jack äußerlich wieder der Alte war, aber zwischendurch gab's ja doch noch den ein oder anderen Einblick in seine Psyche. Bin schon gespannt wie es weiter geht.

Folge 5 war eher ruhiger, brachte aber einige nette Einblicke in Jack's
Familiensituation. Kein Wunder das er lieber mit Terroristen abhängt
als sich diese Familie anzutun.  Mal schauen wie weit Jack geht.

Folge 6 war eher mau! Das der Freund von Palmers Schwester entlarvt wird war klar,
und das Graham nicht ganz sauber ist sollte man seit Season 5 eigentlich wissen. So
gesehen gab es eigentlich nicht viel Neues, bis auf die Intrige im Präsidentenstab.
