Der erste gehört zu meinen Lieblingsfilmen und ich habe auch die SPIO/JK DVD davon. Der zweite Teil hatte zwar gute Effekte, aber das wars dann auch. Für alles andere hat das Geld wohl nicht gerreicht, einer DER schlechtesten Filme die ich in meinem Leben gesehen habe.
Und der Trailer zum dritten Teil sieht meiner Meinung nach auch grottig aus. Die Waffen sind doch wohl ein Witz! Oder? Da sehen Super Soaker echter aus. Und die Bugs sind sauschlecht animiert. Komisch. Vor 10 Jahren sahen die Bugs schon lebensecht aus, und jetzt bringen die uns sowas???

Och, also den zweiten fand ich an den Verhältnissen gemessen eigentlich noch ganz unterhaltsam .... einmal ansehen und vergessen. Die Story von diesen Teil klingt ja eigentlich auch nicht schlecht und ich finde es gut, dass wieder altbekannte Charaktere dabei sind. Wenn nicht nur diese Effekte wären rolleyes

...

Mit den ersten Teil stimme ich überein: Ein Klassiker, die ungeschnittene DVD gehört in jede Sammlung wink

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will debut STARSHIP TROOPERS: MARAUDER on DVD and Blu-ray July 29. The third in the bug-blasting series was written and directed by Ed Neumeier, who penned the original film, with Casper Van Dien returning as Johnny Rico to battle more invading insects. Both editions of MARAUDER will contain two audio commentaries and two featurettes; the same day will also see the release of the 1997 STARSHIP TROOPERS on Blu-ray, with all the prior DVD supplements plus special pop-up video segments containing interviews, FX secrets and more (the MARAUDERS Blu-ray will have these as well).
