Es gibt noch eine weitere, nicht ganz so positive, Review der US-Edition.
Aber ich denke dort wird auf hohen Niveau gemeckert.

Nicht nur du, aber das Lieferdatum bezieht sich ja auf den Tag des Release, aber
Amazon verschickt ja meistens schon einen Tag früher und somit gehe ich davon
aus das wir den Schädel doch am Freitag (03.07.) in den Händen halten können.

Laut einem Bericht von Van Ling, dem Produzenten der Blu-ray, ist die Datenrate auf der EU-BD ca. 5 MBit niedriger als bei der US-BD:
The European encode and the Domestic encode used the same source files captured from tape, the same pre-filtering and a moderate NR applied, but the 5 Mbps is making the greatest difference. Keep in mind that the amount of content on either disk kept the bit rate lower than many other discs on the market and the Euro was lower still.
Grund hierfür ist das auf der EU-BD mehr Sprachen vorhanden sind.

Bei mir ist der Schädel jetzt auch endlich eingetrudelt. Das Teil ist der Hammer! Gefällt mir richtig gut, auch die Größe hat mich überrascht (hab ihn mir kleiner vorgestellt). Die Blu-ray habe ich noch nicht eingelegt, die Soundeffekte und die leuchtenden Augen sind auch ganz nett. Die erste, blaue LE ist für mich ein Volltreffer!  |

Japp, der Kopf ist wirklich nice.
Wenn du die Blu-ray schauen willst hoffe ich das du es nicht über den PC probierst,
denn dort macht sie doch einige Probleme und hat mich fast zur Weißglut gebracht.
Aber mit TotalMedia Theatre 3 habe ich sie dann doch zum laufen bewegt.

Some interesting news has arrived from EmpireOnline who are saying that James Cameron has interest in doing Terminator 2 in 3-D. He told them when asked what other films he would consider doing in 3-D:
"You know, we've thought about Terminator 2, which could be fun because I think that's a film that stands the test of time for me. I think that Aliens was a really good film in its time, but visually it doesn't quite hold up; we've kind of evolved beyond that now. I mean, for me it doesn't. Terminator 2, I think, is the cusp of where it still holds up, through now. True Lies, I don't think so; it doesn't feel right to me. Titanic absolutely, slam dunk! I want to see it!"
I am not a big fan of 3-D and really not sure what new elements 3-D would offer to Terminator 2 that would make it worth seeing. Plus as GoldenSimatar another writer on this site has pointed out, if its not shot in 3-D its not going to be real 3-D.

Terminator 2 Storyboards Show The Destruction Of Skynet
Terminator 2 storyboards include some sequences that were too expensive to film
— like an extended future war sequence, where we see Skynet's destruction from
the point of view of a wounded soldier. Looking at these storyboards, we wish we
could go back in time and give Terminator Salvation's entire budget to James
Cameron, circa 1991, so he could film these intense post-apocalyptic battle
sequences. There's also an extra Sarah Connor nightmare, which includes Arnold
Schwarzenegger menacing her son, and a fiery nuclear holocaust. And you glimpse
concept art for the Terminator's cryogenic "hybermatrix."
