The Jetsons Moving Forward at WB
Source: Variety, May 3, 2006
Warner Bros. Pictures is moving forward on the big screen version of The Jetsons, bringing in Donald De Line to produce and Adam F. Goldberg to write a new screenplay, reports Variety.
De Line will produce the live-action feature with Denise Di Novi, who has been developing the comedy project for well over a decade, working with a string of writers.
The storyline will be based on the popular animated Hanna-Barbera TV show, which revolved around the travails of George Jetson, wife Jane, daughter Judy, son Elroy and their dog, Astro. |
