Bin gestern im Kino gewesen. Also wer die anderen Filme von Rodriguez mag (z.B. From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado, ...) und schon den Fake - Trailer vor Planet Terror etwas abgewinnen konnte, der wird mit Machete seinen Spaß haben. Starke Action in schöner, handgemachter old school - Manier ohne große Spezialeffekte, ein Cast altbekannter Haudegen, trockener Humor & natürlich eine bezaubernde Jessica!  In Sachen Coolness gibt es zudem mom. nichts besseres!  Von daher gibt es von mir auch eine gute 9 von 10 Wertung. |

Ich muss sagen noch nie hat es so viel Spaß gemacht  Saal war ausverkauft und die Stimmung der Hammer
Alle mehrmals am Jolen und Applaudieren gewesen Action Gut, Story i.O. , Sprüche Sau lustig Und Jessica einfach nur Perfekt 
Ich hab nichts zu bemängeln glatte 10/10

There could be more tacos and menage a trois in Danny Trejo’s future.
The Mexican actor says a sequel to this year’s “Machete” has already been written.
“I asked [co-director Robert Rodriguez] when he was going to write it and he says it’s written, so we can get started pretty quick”, said Trejo, according to The Press Association.
“I don’t even think Robert Rodriguez even expected that reception and now everyone is waiting for Machete 2 so hurry up Robert Rodriguez!” Danny laughed.
With Rodriguez’s slate, not to mention how long it took to get the first [reasonably-cheap] “Machete” off the ground, I think it’s safe to say it could be quite a few years before we see the intestine-swinging vigilante again.

Machete Sequels Announced
Robert Rodriguez just took to the Hall H stage at the San Diego Comic-Con to reveal that Machete is set to return to theaters with two sequels (as have been teased since the very first Grindhouse faux-trailer).
"Both 'Machete' sequels have been greenlit," says Rodriguez, though he added that the first one is currently the only one guaranteed to have a full-length film involved. The third will exist (for the time being) only in trailer form.
To be titled Machete Kills, the sequel will include fake footage for the third film, now titled Machete Kills Again... In Space!. Rodriguez promises that it will include space babes and a lightsaber style weapon.
No further details are currently available, but Danny Trejo is certain to return to the title role.

Robert Rodriguez appears set to move forward on his next project, Machete Kills, Deadline reports. The script is now completed and production is being targeted for this April.
Though the sequel is based on his 2010 film, Machete, that film was, in turn, based on a fake trailer that Rodriguez created for part of 2007's Grindhouse and the character dates back even further to an ongoing joke between the director and the star, Danny Trejo. In fact, the decidedly R-rated character actually makes his first on-screen appearance in 2001's Spy Kids.
"We had always had the idea for the real 'Machete' movie ever since I knew [Danny] back when we did 'Desperado,'" Rodriguez told ComingSoon.net late last year. "We never thought we'd get around to making it, so when we went to do 'Spy Kids,' he needed a codename. We named him 'Machete' after the character from the movie we never got to do, thinking we'd never get to do it. So when we did get to do it, it makes it look like a really rich, odd alternate universe where my adult movies mix in with my kid movies."
Rodriguez had announced last summer that Machete Kills was greenlit and will include a Grindhouse style trailer for the third (at the moment fictional) entry in the Machete franchise, Machete Kills Again... In Space!.
The new film is said to have Machete teaming with the U.S. Government to take on a Mexican drug cartel and a James Bond-style villain who seeks world domination with a satellite weapon.
The original Machete also starred Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal and Michelle Rodriguez. At the moment, there is no confirmation of who else beyond Trejo might be returning.

Now that director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Predators) and producer Alexander Rodnyansky are in full pre-production swing on Machete Kills a bit of significant casting news is beginning to trickle in. Word has it that Jessica Alba (Idle Hands, Fantastic Four), and Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast And The Furious, Resident Evil: Retribution) are in talks to appear in the sequel. One would presume this means they’re reprising their respective roles as Sartana and Luz, but you never know in the topsy turvy creative universe of Robert Rodriguez.
Machete Kills (as teased in the closing credits of the first Machete), the film is the second in a planned trilogy. Danny Trejo returns as the title character. The first film starred Trejo as Machete as a Mexican, an ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer, and is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator. The sequel will be the first U.S. picture to be produced and financed by Alexander Rodnyansky, whose Hollywood expansion plans include a $120 million film fund with Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski. AR Films U.S. is a new partnership between AR Films and Aldamisa Entertainment, whose Sergei Bespalov will manage worldwide sales of Machete Kills in Berlin.
Rodriguez has hinted that the third film in the trilogy will take place in space. We’ll see on that one. Machete Kills starts filming soon, with Rodriguez set to take the reigns on Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For immediately afterward.
