Im Fall von Avatar und den anderen, 'richtigen' 3D-Filmen wird ein 3D-fähiger
Fernseher und Blu-ray-Player benötigt. Ansonsten wird nur 2D ausgegeben.
Die 100 Hz Technik hat mit 3D garnichts zutun.

Mit einem Tagesmarktanteil von 19,5 Prozent beim jungen Publikum setzte sich RTL mit großem Abstand vor die gesamte Konkurrenz (ProSieben: 11,3%, Sat.1: 9,1). Auch beim Gesamtpublikum lag RTL mit einem Marktanteil von 13,8 Prozent vor der ARD (11,4 %) und dem ZDF (10,6 %).
