Also Abrams ist ein Meister seines Fachs, und wenn er einen Film ein halbes Jahr vor Start sogar noch ohne Titel präsentiert, dann muss es schon was besonderes sein 
Soll übrigens wieder ein ARG (Alternate Reality Game) zum Film geplant sein, ähnlich wie die Lost Experoience bei Lost. Aber Achtung, die Seite www.ethanhaaswasright.com gehört nicht dazu! Hat Abrams selbst bestätigt.
Einige spekulieren ja schon an Verbindungen zu Lost, da der Film auch noch ein paar Tage vor Season 4 startet...und nach dem Finale von Season 3 ist ja alles möglich 
Ist aber nicht meine Meinung...ich lass mich überraschen. |

Advertising Age has posted a great article summing up the events that led moviegoers to find out about J.J. Abrams' secret movie, 1-18-08, which has brought in more hits at the top of ComingSoon.net's Top Previews than the big blockbusters this summer.
The article mentions the Slusho.jp tie-in site (read the Slusho company's history for possible clues) and concludes that J.J. Abrams & Co. themselves cut the teaser (normally, trailer companies do):
Who cut the "Cloverfield" trailer? Paramount isn't saying. Execs at and spokesmen for the studio did not return calls seeking comment. But a person at a postproduction house that works closely with Paramount on all its trailers told Ad Age that the trailer "came out of left field for all of us" and that the consensus was Mr. Abrams had cut the trailer himself.
We knew Abrams could keep a secret or two from his "Alias" and "Lost" days, but this is pretty impressive.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Before calling it a night, I just wanted to post this up. We've been getting tons and tons and tons and tons of fake Cloverfield stuff. Tons of it. I might be putting my foot in my mouth again, but I hear we'll be seeing, at Comic-Con, an official announcement of the title and the rumor I heard today was that it was going to be called MONSTROUS.
When I heard this, I immediately thought of a couple blurry poster images we've been sent that had that title. So, I wouldn't say it's a confirmation, but I think it's very likely that the below poster is for CLOVERFIELD. We'll know more tomorrow, as I'm sure if there is an announcement it'll be during the Paramount panel. Enjoy!

also wenn im ganzen film die kameraführung so wackelig ist, dann wirds bestimmt nach ner zeit anstrengend, sieht aber sehr spannend und vielversprechend aus!! |

Ich freu mich zwar immer noch auf den Film, frage mich aber wie glaubhaft das "Typ-läuft-mit-Digicam"-Konzept sein wird, denn einige Szenen im Trailer sahen mehr wie professionelle Kinoaufnahmen aus, und weniger als wenn das einer mittendrin in Panik filmt. Na mal abwarten. |

Es wurde ja nie behauptet das ALLES im "Typ-läuft-mit-Digicam"-Konzept geschieht.
Nachdem mich der Trailer so in seinen Bann gezogen hat hab ich mich mal etwas umgeschaut, und irgendwie scheint das Getränk Slusho etwas mit dem Film zutun zu haben (es kam auch schonmal in Alias vor). Sogar auf dem Set von Heroes wird das jetzt eifrig getrunken, nur wieso? Simpler Kommentar dazu: Their cultural significance will become clear in the coming months, so… pay attention! Und eine offizielle Webseite zu dem Getränk gibt es auch: slusho.jp!

Just saw CLOVERFIELD in a small screening in NYC. IT WAS AWESOME! (AICN)
Es wird wohl auch gesagt das dieser Film soetwas sein könnte wie Star Wars vor einigen Jahren. Bin gespannt.

The other thing I think is very exciting is this monster is huge and you see
everything. You see it in a way that is if you're shooting it with a Handicam.
If you're hiding under a car, you see it that way, and there are other
moments - I can guarantee you - you are seeing this monster in a huge way.
