I truly despise WB for ruining T3 to save their Matrix. The true uncut Mostow version could have been better than T2 and would have gave Matrix Reloaded a run for its money |

Leider wurden nicht alle Tracks die in T3 zu hören sind auch auf den OST gehauen, doch ein Fan hat es geschafft sie zu beschaffen, und nun kann man sich die unreleased Tracks runterladen!

One of our WB infiltrators, who was involved in the original "T3" 2-disc DVD, is back to tell TheArnoldFans that he just pitched a big SPECIAL EDITION DVD release to WB as well as to possibly include a "bridged" special version of our "T3.5" for the fans!
The insider sat with WB execs in "early Summer" and discussed bringing the fans a bigger and better version of the film and to include more of the material which was originally discussed for last year's 2-disc release.
Infiltrator:
"Besides being a HUGE Arnold fan and student of Cameron's Terminator mythology, I also work as a (censored) for DVD special features. Last year I was hired by Warner Bros. to (removed) several special features for the T3 DVD. I must confess, most of the bonus materials were chopped during the final production stage and, unfortunately, it shows on the disc (the decision was financial - Warner cut the content in half to save money - these extra DVD "pages" would have required another disc and thus have been too expensive to produce).
Ever since then, I have been hounding Warner Home Entertainment for a "T3 Deluxe Director's Cut" DVD, which I officially proposed."
This DVD specialist is fully behind our T3.5 project and also agrees with some additional help, T3 can still be the best one yet. If T3.5 gets completed before T4 begins filming (or is filmed simultaneously as T4), then a re-release of T3.5 at the theaters will not only make the film an additional bundle of money, but it will also generate much more hype for T4!
Very soon WB will have their decision. If WB approved the SE DVD, will the infiltrator return to pitch T3.5?
"...and as a bonus feature on this box-set, I would like to consider Mr. Chad Campbell's T3.5 script - who knows, maybe this will help push Warner to reshoot the scenes Mr. Campbell has suggested, thus creating a "bridged" version of the movie.
My goal is to convince Warner Bros. (with Mostow's approval, of course) to deliver this "director's cut" specifically geared for the fans - especially super fans like us who demand a more polished and completed installment in the Terminator franchise."
The insider recently spoke briefly to them about a special edition DVD and they do sound interested. So what can we expect on a new DVD release?
"Warner is discussing T4 at the moment, and if they move forward with it, then a new T3 DVD is likely (cross-promotion). Box-set idea is to make it more comparable to the T2 Ultimate Edition DVD - which is one of the best DVDs out there. Material could include: an extended and thorough Terminator timeline with interactive audio/video clips, "lost" storyboards, a graphic-style popup commentary, improved interactive menus ala T2 Ultimate & Extreme DVDs with new computer animated peeks into the belly of Skynet, and more. But the best part would be if Mostow and Warner got involved to produce some sort of "bridged version" of the film. I've seen this done with storyboards and script pages on other DVDs."
If all goes well, the Infiltrator will try to have an additional DVD featurette on THE FANS and another one might even feature a commentary by myself and Chad Campbell with narrations to T3.5! The future is not set. Will it be a dark one run by machines or will it be a bright one where WB and Terminator producers actually listen to the fans?
Perhaps if the film studio releases the "T3.5" storyboard "bridged" version on the "T3" SE DVD... the names of all the serious fans who have supported the petition for T3.5 will run in the credits!

Ich musste gerade etwas entsetzt feststellen, dass Pro7 Terminator 3 am 12. März 2006 um 20:15 Uhr  zeigt. Bin mal gespannt ob das ungeschnitten bleibt.

Es gab schon eine Meldung dazu und einen Schnittbericht: Er wird also geschnitten im Fernsehen gezeigt. Wenn ich dann daran denke, als kürzlich die Indiana Jones Filme liefen.... Gott, was war besonders "Der Tempel des Todes" zerstückelt worden |

Jaja, wie nichts anders zu erwarten war ist der Film gekürzt, und das an Stellen, wo ich es eigentlich garnicht erwartet hatte, da dort eben nichts zu sehen ist.  Bin mal gespannt was noch so fehlt, bisher sind mir 2 Schnitte aufgefallen ... in 30 Minuten nicht übel.

Mir fiel der Schnitt auf nachdem das Katzenfrauchen erschossen wurde (da nimmt T-X noch nen Schluck Blut) und als die T-X nach den Geschwistern fragte ... da sieht man eigentlich nur noch wie sie den Typen zu Boden stößt und die Waffe auf ihn richtet, mehr nicht.

Heute um 20:15 Uhr kommt im TV die ProSieben-Edition
des Films! Die sieht ungefähr so aus wie der T-850 auf
diesem Bild. Trotzdem wünsche ich gute Unterhaltung.

Die Blu-ray wird als Steelbook erscheinen. Derzeit ist die BD nur als UK-Import
vorbestellbar, jedoch wird dieser - laut dvdactive.com - eine deutsche Tonspur
haben. Der Preis liegt atkuell bei EUR 20.99.
Edit: Dieser UK-Import scheint NICHT die Steelbook-Edition zu sein.
